One might think that since the rest of it is very suitable for microwave, wire money not so controversial among them. Will I see the fireworks when I try to microwave or oven, are metals?

You have an idea how a microwave-safe version without increasing the price? Me neither.
Only the date of microwaves from about 1970. Chinese take-out boxes are much higher than that. I think it was an invention of the 19th Century.
Simply remove the handle. Then you can be sure it is safe.
